||
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses and information following two home burglaries in Kidlington. At some time between 11am and 3.45pm last Monday (30 June), two properties in Waverly Avenue were broken into with various items stolen, including high value jewellery and cash of different currencies. The two burglaries are being treated as linked incidents and an investigation in under way into both of them. Investigating officer Detective Constable Sophie Smith, of the Priority Crime Team, said: “Both of these burglaries have occurred during the daytime with residents not present at either property. “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area of Waverly Avenue between the hours off 11am and 4pm last Monday and who believes they witnessed any suspicious activity, to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police either via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference 43250326007. “Similarly, if you were driving in the area and have any dash-cam footage which may assist, or you live in the area and have any doorbell or CCTV footage, I would urge you to please submit this to us via our dedicated portal for this investigation. “We are treating these incidents as linked, and no arrests have been made. “If you do not wish to speak directly to police, you can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.” | ||
